In 2022, geopolitical uncertainties, power struggles and the growth of both conventional and hybrid threats, contribute to the need for major naval powers to invest in an efficient and accurate navy.
Moreover, new technologies, from military and civilian industries as well, offer new opportunities for navies all over the world to develop
their abilities to operate in every warfighting domain.
To discuss the trend of naval rearmament, the French Navy Center for Strategic studies hosts a webinar on Oct. 10th with 3 major international experts.

Engineer by training, specialized in the field of armaments, he is since 2019 the director of the board of directors of Research, Technology and Innovation (RTI)
Dr. Catherine Warner of NATO
After a stint with the U.S. Secretary of Defense as an expert advisor to the Director of Operational Test and Evaluation, she is now the Director
of the Center for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE)
